Dear future students,               First off, this class requires an ability to think outside the box, an ability to articulate thoughts, and the ability to plan. I would say the biggest behaviors one needs a bit of creativity. There are a lot of assignments that require the student to come up with ideas and plans and think about the many ways those plans could fail or succeed. Additionally, the ability to articulate those plans comes in handy as well. This class requires a lot of writing as it is set up in a blog format. To articulate your thoughts and express your ideas to your classmates is handy. What surprised me the most? What surprised me the most was that Chanel had an addiction to morphine that came to be when she was dealing with her ‘tragic past’.  What about the entrepreneur did you most admire?  That Coco Chanel came from nothing and made something of herself. Psychographic Segment Kendall Pikowski How much do you pay for parking?  ·        I pay $150/mo. to park at the standard parking garage. I also have to pay for the student scooter decal at UF and the standard scooter decal. My name is Emily Allen. I am the youngest child of four. I am originally from Jacksonville, FL but moved to Austin, Texas in high school. I would say my skills range from being an effective communicator, extremely curious, and highly meticulous. I have had numerous opportunities in my upbringing from professional to personal to develop my skills. Some of those opportunities being interning in London last summer, volunteering at various Humane Society’s, participating in philanthropic events, and traveling whenever I get the chance. My aspirations are to work for a corporate bank in either Relationship Management or in Wealth Management. The Problem:  The inability to park and get around the campus and surrounding areas at University of Florida. UF has limited parking for cars, the buses are crowed and slow, scooters are expensive and dangerous, and sometimes where you want to go is too far to walk.  The solution:  Copy the platform of Ubers’ JUMP, Lime, and Bird and bring electric razor scooters to UF’s campus and surrounding areas. The product I would be selling is like that of ride sharing. You would download the application onto your mobile device. The app will tell you where scooters are around campus. When a student picks up a scooter to ride they will be billed per minute. Where ever the final destination is they would typically just leave the scooter on the side walk parked. There would be staff that will go around at various times of the day to collect scooters and bring them to hot spot locations where students typically need the scooters. The opportunity I am discussing is the opportunity to use electric razor scooters on the University of Florida’s campus mimicking the platform of Uber’s JUMP and Bird to promote mobilization and eliminate the need to park.  University of Florida’s campus and surrounding campus is not equipped with adequate parking for students and visitors inhibiting mobilization and this is due to inadequate planning and development, a huge campus, and large number of students.  The who? The need is held by any UF student/faculty/resident/visitor who feels they can never find parking, are overpaying for parking, feel they aren’t getting places efficiently, are afraid of getting towed parking in some places, and who do not have the option of riding a scooter.  The what?  Who doesn’t face challenges when parking?
